Sterling Supergroup Welcomes New Member, Clegg’s Chilled Foodservice Ltd

Sterling Supergroup is pleased to announce that the latest wholesaler to join the co-operative is Clegg’s Chilled Foodservice Ltd, located in Lancashire. Clegg’s Chilled Foodservice is an established chilled and ambient wholesaler based in Longridge, Lancashire. Founded in 1984 by Mark Clegg, it was acquired by two of his children, Richard Clegg and Lucy Ross in January 2025. The business was originally a cheese business, supplying Lancashire cheese to local markets. Dairy remains a speciality within the business but the range is growing quickly, adding more ambient lines and looking to some frozen capacity in the near future.
